New Verve...You Had Me At Chocolate

Welcome to Verve's New Release Spotlight Hop! Verve is releasing a brand new set, coordinating word die and a couple of shaker mixes today, and the new goodies are available right now in the Verve store!

I was so excited when I received a package from Verve stamps in the mail last week...yay! New stamps! Just recently I had the chance to get away for a scrapbooking weekend and was able to put this little shabby beauty together...It features Verve's newest Chocolate stamps and the cutest little 'Chocolate' coordinating die. The papers are from Maja Design's newest limited collection called Nyhavn. I ink distressed the perimeter of a kraft doily and added some liquid pearls to it. I then stamped the sentiment on an older Verve Curvy Bookplate die. I adorned that with some fabric flowers and then sponged the edges for an antique-y look. Lastly I cut out the word 'chocolate' with Verve's die and adhered it with spray-on adhesive.

  11. I have just ordered that "Chocolate" die... no female paper crafter should be without it... or the real thing, either! And, it was quite affordable. Great card, Andrea!! As an aside, I cannot use the spray adhesive because of asthma issues but there are lots of products out there that can be adhered to the paper before cutting to make placement easy. They seem to be being focused on a lot since CHA 2015.
