New Verve...Pink Power

Welcome back to Verve's October 2014 Release Celebration! Three new sets, three new dies and a sequin mix just released on Saturday and today we're back sharing our inspirations with a new set called Pink Power and the new Ribbon Die!

I've recently heard from an old neighbor that she was diagnosed with breast cancer...I felt devastated by her news! The timing of this new set is perfect as I would like to send this to her to let her know that I'm thinking about her. I used two sentiments from the Pink Power set and also the coordinating Ribbon die from Verve. I stamped them on Vintage Summer Basics paper and outlined the perimeter with some liquid pearls. My sketch is modeled after this week's Mojo Monday design:

  20. Hi Andrea, I've come to you from Mojo Monday where I saw your card. I love the way you've matted all the layers with a darker colour, and I stole that idea for my own entry :-p Thank you! If you'd like some free printables or digital papers and elements, please feel free to visit my blogs...
