Celebrate Verve

Hello blog friends! Today is my day to post on both the Verve blog for August's Diva Dare project and Maja Design's blog for a sampling of Maja Design vintage papers. I combined both challenges into one card to come up with this summer delight:

Verve's Diva Dare theme is 'Celebrate' being that Verve is turning 7 this month! I used the latest release stamp set, Moments Remembered. I also added some Shine Bright Sequins and a floral cluster consisting of a paper flower, fabric leaves, wooden feathers, a floral stamen and distressed gauze. I also distressed all the edges and inked them up. The middle panel is also sewed. My design is modeled after this week's Mojo Monday sketch.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

  2. This card is lovely. One question if you don't mind: Do you actually stitch your layers on?
