CASE Study...You're So Amazing

Morning blog friends! It's a snowy day in the Northeast United States this morning...the school has already called to tell us that there is a 2 hour delay and you can bet that my kids are as happy as anything! And what makes me happy?  What little time I get to play with some paper in my craft room as those times have become few and far between...but I do have a card for this week's CASE Study with our February guest, Danielle Flanders! Here's my card followed by her's pictured below:

I decided to go with my own color scheme, but to keep that 'you're great' theme going. The papers are from Maja Design, stamp from Verve and pearls/crystals are courtesy of Zva Creative.
Here's Danielle's perfectly lovely card:

Want to see how the other CASE Study design team members were inspired?

If you'd like to play along with CASE Study's challenge this week...here are the deets:
1. Create a paper crafting project (card, layout, off-the-page item), based on provided inspiration (being a featured creation, made by our Muse).
2. Post your creation on your blog or an online gallery (using a code CSC178), and link it here with the inlinkz widget below. Please provide a direct link to your post, not an entire blog.
3. A new challenge is being posted every Thursday at 12.01 AM EST, and you've got until midnight on Tuesday to submit your entry.
4. You may enter as many times as you like, but you're asked to provide a newly designed project.
5. We will choose the authors of four most impressive creations, who will be awarded the Winner and Top 3 awards. In addition, there might be a person chosen randomly from the list of players, who will receive the prize provided by the sponsor - if there is one.
We will announce the winners on Wednesday.
6. If you'd like to be considered for our next month-long Guest Designer, put "GD" next to your name when linking up your project (only valid on every second challenge of the month).
7. Above all, have fun - and be inspired!

  1. Pretty card! I'm in PA and we've got a good bit of snow during the night and now a wintry mix going on.

  3. Lovely showcase of blues with a pop of green. We are getting the liquid version of your snow - and LOTS of it - ugh!!

  4. My favorite color combination, blue & green... and so nicely brought together. We are having ICE with just a dusting of snow. People always hear that spots in Georgia are stopped dead by 2 or 3 inches of snow... not the case. It is coming down as snow and becoming ice the moment it hits the pavement. If it is cold enough,we get a dusting of snow over that, like confectioner's sugar on top of a cake. My front walk and driveway has a 2" thick layer of solid ice (more is some spots). I, too, am using a lot of this time being immobilized to hit the craft desk. After over 2 days of this, however, the house seems to be getting smaller and the walls moving closer!! Thank goodness there are people out there to be our creative muse on line as long as the power holds out. Thanks for your lovely creation and your tenacity in the face of snow!!

  6. Such a pretty pairing of papers, Andrea. :) And I hear you on the kids enjoying this time off from all the snow. Mine too. We had a snow day yesterday, and delay this morning. We had 10" here in our neighborhood. How 'bout you?
