New Verve, Post Release Inspiration

Happy Saturday all! Last week Verve released a slew of darling stamps, sequins and dies. I'm back here today with a card that I made both for the release and also for my posting on Maja Design's blog. This card features the newly released Poppy Birthday stamp set from Verve and the newly released Vintage Autumn Basics collection from Maja Design:

I seriously adore these stamps and papers. Mmm...Me thinks you may be seeing more of them in the future. {wink, wink}.
The photo is part of the paper collection...there all kinds of vintage photos of different people with different backgrounds. I thought that the Verve sentiment from Poppy Birthday would fit perfectly with the theme of this card. The edges are all distressed with scissors and I added some of Verve's Truly Madly Deeply seam binding...adorned with a fabric flower and I also added the chipboard heart that I outfitted with some lace, twine and pearls.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend and thanks for visiting!

  2. Loving this!! I think I am going to enter this challenge, too. Again, I must thank you for introducing me to these gorgeous papers... just hope they become very popular in the U.S. so they will be available for purchase locally. Fingers crossed...
