Make Your Own Happiness

Happy Sunday friends! Today marks a new challenge for our Russian friends over at the Vintage Card Cafe ...we're continuing our rainbow blitz and today's feature color is white! I've gone and added a little 'grunge' to my whites...stark white is not a color that I'm very comfortable with...I really love the softness of antiqued, brown edges to any light color. Here's what I mean:

I bought a clearance woodgrain snowflake from Michael's and used that as my background shape. I added a scalloped circle, painted with modge podge, a book print page and some coarse crystal glitter. I added some White Liquid Pearls and then my sentiment which is from Verve's Fairy Tales set. There's a strip of floral ribbon and floral lace overtop that. The background paper is embossed with Swiss Dots and I outlined the perimeter with Platinum Stickles.
