Happy 300 Mojo Monday!

This week Mojo Monday is celebrating its 300th sketch by offering 30 prizes for participants! Play along with the Mojo Monday 300 sketch and link it up to the Mojo Monday linky entry form and you’ll be in the drawing for some fabulous papercrafting goodies! For all the details, a list of prizes from over 20 different companies and some fabulous samples using the Mojo 300 sketch head on over to the Mojo Monday blog. Here's a sample I made using Verve's Treasured Words stamp set:

My intention was to make a card conveying how happy I am for Julee and the Mojo Makers for making it through 300 weeks of sketches...what an accomplishment! I started off with some of my very favorite papers, Kaisercraft's Vintage Timeless collection. I wanted the papers to really show through, so for the largest panel covering the background papers, I decided to use vellum. I distress inked the edges with Antique Linen and then gently ran my open scissors down the sides to rough them up a bit.  All the other panels are inked and most of them distressed. I also used Verve's newest ribbon collection, Polka Dot Basics.

Here are the Verve products I used:

And as an added bonus, Julee is offering up a sweet discount on all Verve products!

I also want to send a big thank-you out to Julee...she is one of the very first card makers that caught my eye before delving into the blogging world...she so inspired me then and still does to this day with her amazing eye for color, composition and design. I was over the moon when she asked me to be a guest designer with Verve and my heart about stopped when she asked me to join the team permanently. Her generosity, professionalism and super sweet disposition make her an absolute joy to work for...and I thank her for that.
So glad you stopped by today...thanks to you too for that!
