Vintage Card Cafe Challenge...You're My Cup of Tea

Hello and happy Sunday! There's a new challenge at the Vintage Card Cafe this week, a fun, heart-warming theme we are working with today...tea time! I drink tea everyday to 'wake-up' in the morning and then progress to coffee. Since I was introduced to Maja Design's Ska vi ta en fika line of papers, I've really enjoyed making cards with any type of steeped goodness. Here's my card featuring both of those elements:

The sentiment and cups are courtesy of Verve's Better With You and Sip and Savor sets. I stamped the cups on a piece of Två fröknar - bs paper and then fussy cut them out. The sentiment was stamped on a punched out Large Designer Label from Stampin' Up!. The flower is matted on a Quinn Flourish die punched out in Early Espresso card stock. I ruffled a piece of lace and added an lilac polka-dotted organza ribbon strip and bow. The background paper edges are all distressed and sewn.

I hope you'll join us!
Thanks for visiting~
