I ended up adding lots of layers that really aren't seen all that much. Ends up being a really thick, expensive card. :) To make the flower, I used My Favorite Things' Plentiful Petals die, cut out of Cajun Craze card stock and then crumpled up into a ball. I unrolled the paper, dabbed on some distress ink to tone down the color a bit and then assembled the flower. I added some Foliage die cuts and to the tips of the petals I dabbed on some Platinum Stickles. The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley Stamps' Inspirational Sentiments set. I stamped that onto a Labels Eighteen that was lightly sponged and outlined with a Chocolate Spica pen while still in the die. I then added some liquid pearls to the outside perimeter and attached it to a piece of burlap, which is over top of a half doily. Most of the edges are sewn and all of them are distressed. In the corners I added some antique copper corners and as an afterthought, I added the locket with cord bow.
