New Verve...Teachers Count

Welcome to our May 2013 Spotlight Hops!  Today we're shining our Verve spotlights on the new stamps Teachers Count, Apple Die Set, All Occasion, Occasion Frame Die, Promoted Plain Jane. Each of the release team Divas and Guest Divas below has posted her first look at these new stamps today. As you hop through the list below, you just might see some super sneaky peeks of new coordinating dies and ribbons, so keep your eyes peeled! Everything you see previewed along today's hop will be available in Verve's online store on Friday, May 10.

This card is using the On Occasion set and Teachers Count set along with the coordinating Apple die set (there's also a peek of some new ribbons available in the store tomorrow!):

I started off with Simple Stories' Generations paper. I love the rich, vintage look to these papers. I distressed and inked most of the edges as well as the focal panel. For that, I stamped the frame from the On Occasion set, then cut it out with Verve's coordinating Occasion Frame die. The apple is also a new die...the Apple die set (appropriately enough). Both the apple stamp and the sentiment are from Verve's new Teachers Count set. Too bad my kids are older or I'd be able to make some awesome teacher thank you cards with these! The bow is also from Verve, Julee is also releasing two new ribbon kits (love, love, LOVE them!). This card also showcases some previously released Verve~A Cut Above dies, namely the Pennant Trim die and the Scalloped Trim Trio set.

This card was made with the On Occasion stamp set with the previously released Banner Bundle die set:

Bramble Rose is the paper theme here...so shabby and fun! The flowers are from the On Occasion set and stamped on patterned paper, then cut out. I layered two colors together and finished each flower off with a pearl center. The sentiment is stamped on a previously released Banner Bundle die and I added a perimeter of liquid pearls to it.
