New Verve...Love Mercy

Welcome to our May 2013 Spotlight Hops!  Hopefully you've ended up here from Marisa's blog. If not, check out the links below so that you don't miss out on anyone's gorgeous projects today! Today we're shining our Verve spotlights on the new stamps Let it Be and Deepest Sympathy Plain Jane. Each of the release team Divas and Guest Divas below has posted her first look at these new stamps today. As you hop through the list below, you just might see some super sneaky peeks of new coordinating dies and ribbons, so keep your eyes peeled! Everything you see previewed along today's hop will be available in Verve's online store on Friday, May 10.

I used the largest stamp in the set on this card...so I had to do a little fancy footwork to highlight it just right. I pulled out lots of dies on this one, starting from the bottom (which is the base) there is a Romantic Rectangle, then a Top Note die (cut in half and extended), a Labels Eight, then a Curved Rectangle, a Scalloped Rectangle and lastly a plain ol' Rectangle. Whew! I added a bit of bling to each layer, namely liquid pearls, stickles and distress ink. The soft bow was made with Verve's new collection of black ribbons (yum!) and a fabric flower.

Here's the view in the light box:
