Stamp It, Mask It, Sponge It, Sparkle It

Well, it seems as though the title of this post sums up what I did to this card...I'm playing along with one of the Splitcoast Challenges...Try a New Technique. Though I've done each one of these methods by themselves...I don't think I've ever put them all together on a card. I'm also playing along with the Featured Stamper segment as well, I mimicked Lesley's design on this card here...on my card here:

I first stamped the bolder design in the Elements of Style set as a background. Then I cut a smaller panel (2 3/8" X 3 7/8") to stamp the larger floral design. I then stamped it again on computer paper and fussy cut out the design, laid it over the good copy and gently sponged around the edges with Soft Sky ink. Next I swabbed some 2 way glue on points on the flower and sprinkled with the glitter. (It will take a week to get this glitter off my face...) I matted that on a black panel with a Dotted Scallop decorative punch at the bottom and added the matted sentiment. That was raised up with dimensionals and adhered to the card base. As an afterthought, I added the horizontal black panel, the bow and gem.

Here's the Verve stamp set I used:
