Paper Sweeties April Sketch Challenge

Good Monday morning! Hope everyone had a nice Easter/Passover/holiday week! I think that things pretty much get back to normal now as far as celebrations go. I have my kiddos home for one more day, then back to the grind. Only 3 more months of school since April's here already! The first of the month means a new sketch from the Paper Sweeties...and a new chance to win some! Here's my take on this month's sketch, with the design pictured below:

A little off to the left for me, I don't usually use images because I really don't know how to color very well. I'm one of those silly people that wants to just know how, and not spend the time LEARNING how...so I just fake it as best as I can. The image is courtesy of the Paper Sweeties' latest release, this one is called  Hippity Hoppity. The sentiment is from Baskets and Bunnies. I used Crate Paper's Farmhouse collection papers. I also added a few more panels...cos I like to. :)

Here's the down-low on the Sketch challenge:

Paper Sweeties hosts monthly sketch challenges on their blog — a great opportunity to ink up those Sweeties sets of yours and get crafty! Each month on the 1st we will have a brand new sketch inspiration for you to play along with. You can enter as many times as you wish throughout the month — the more times you enter, the more chances you’ll have to win!
It’s as easy as 1-2-3 to create, share and win:
1. Create a card or project based on the current Sweeties Sketch Inspiration graphic using any of your favorite crafty goodies!   You’ll get an extra vote if you use ANYTHING from the Paper Sweeties Shoppe!
2. Post a DIRECT LINK to your project in our Inlinkz gallery — please use the URL to your actual project post, not your entire blog, so we can easily find your creation. You do not need to have a blog to enter — you can use any online gallery such as Flickr, PinterestFacebook or Splitcoast.
3. LINK back to the Paper Sweeties' blog post so your readers can easily find it!
Our sketch challenge will run for the entire month. You can play along as many times as you wish — the more times you play, the more chances you have to win!  The challenges will end at 12 pm EST on the last day of each month. The new sketch will be revealed on the 1st of each month. The winner of the previous month’s sketch challenge will be announced on the 1st of each new month and will win a $20 gift certificate to the shoppe!!

  6. That is one adorable bunny, love how he's colored and framed with the pearl dots! I rarely color my images either as I am horrible with markers. Not sure how that happened as I used to be SO good with crayons as a kid :)

  7. I had to go back and double check to see whose blog I was on when I saw that colored image!! heheehehe It's beautiful, you should color more often! ;-) Although I am uber envious of how you put your non-coloring, sentiment cards together!!!
