CASE Study...Spring Joy!

Good Morning! I've got a dual purpose post for you today, this is opening day for new inspiration at CASE Study with the mega talented Julie Ebersole! Queen of CAS I'd say, her cards are just lovely and if I can glean anything from them I'd be entirely grateful! Today also happens to be a day where the Paper Sweeties' are giving another sneaky peek of some stamps to be released tomorrow! Spring is in the air...I can feel it! So, here's my somewhat CAS card based on Julie's pictured below:

I so feel like I cheated with this card as those butterflies are simply stickers....however pretty they may be. :) The vellum shape has a silver outline behind it which in real like makes it look like the back is cut out of the panel, like Julie's below, for that negative die effect. The bottom is punched with a border punch and I added silver pearls to the two flowers and a gem to the middle. The sentiment is from Paper Sweeties' Jelly Bean Time set.

Here's Julie's super sweet card:

Want to see how the other CASE Study design team members were inspired?
Here's the list of the other ladies' blog:
Teneale Williams
and our March Guestie:

Here's the down-low on CASE Study's challenge:
1. Create a paper crafting project (card, layout, off-the-page item), based on provided inspiration (being a featured creation, made by our Muse).
2. Post your creation on your blog or an online gallery (using a code CSC132), and link it to the CASE Study blog with the inlinkz widget. Please provide a direct link to your post, not an entire blog.
3. A new challenge is being posted every Thursday at 12.01 AM EST, and you've got until midnight on Tuesday to submit your entry.
4. You may enter as many times as you like, but you're asked to provide a newly designed project.
5. We will choose authors of the four most impressive creations, who will be awarded the Winner and Top 3 awards. In addition, there might be a person chosen randomly from the list of players, who will receive the prize provided by the sponsor - if there is one.
We will announce the winners on Wednesday.
6. Above all, have fun - and be inspired!

  1. There's no cheating in card making, you still have to think about the design and put all the elements together (at least that's what I tell myself)! This card is beautiful in white and silver and I love the punched bottom.
