Mojo Monday...You Inspire Me

Good morning, friends! I had a chance to combine a couple of challenges today with this card...I used Mojo Monday's sketch and in the Splitcoast 'Try a New Technique' forum, we're to add 3 patterns to our cards. Well, now that I'm typing this and looking at my card, even though I used 5 different patterned papers, only two of them have patterns. Actually, there are 3, but two are very similar. Oh, well...not starting over now! Here's my card:

The papers are from Maja Design's Vintage Summer Basics collection. Very soft, very chic and very feminine papers...I have such a hard time cutting them because I want them to last forever! I distressed all the edges and added both liquid and solid pearls to the design. The flower is fabric and I stacked that onto a crocheted white flower. The tag is from Verve's Tiny Sweet Scallop die. I sponged the edges, added White Opal liquid pearls and stamped a sentiment from Verve's Dare to Be set. As a finishing touch, I outlined the perimeter with some Petal Pink Liquid Pearls...it looked a bit boring. :)

Thanks for stopping by...I'll be back tomorrow with Verve's Diva Inspiration Hop for February!

  6. So pretty! I love how you used strips of paper for one of the panels, very neat and yes, it must have been hard to cut into them! Really love the sweet scallop die, it really IS sweet!
