Paper Sweeties...Dream a Little Dream

Welcome to Paper Sweeties' Release Day! Today we are releasing new sentiment, boutique, friends and accessory sets! Lots of options when dressing up those little darlings, or, what I like to do is make elegant/shabby cards using sentiments, such as this one pictured below:

I started this card with Maja Design's 12" X 12" Ska vi ta en fika collection, specifically the Chaite and Blommor på bordet papers. I machine sewed each perimeter panel after I sponged all the edges with the distress ink. The floral accent consists of a bow tied with Cameo Beige Sugar scrunched seam binding (from Paper Sweeties), some paper flowers and a hemp bow. The sentiment is stamped on a Tiny Sweet Scallop die by Verve and I outlined the perimeter with Lavender Lace Liquid Pearls. I stretched a length of Ecru crochet trim across the center for a bit of interest, as well. After all was said and done, my mind told me that I needed to add the Zva crystal flourish and I'm glad I listened. :)
