January Diva Inspirations Hop

Welcome to our January Diva Inspirations Hop!  Today the Divas are dusting off some Verve favorites and putting on our monthly hop to inspire you with a fresh new spin on the stamps in our stash! So grab a drink and hop along as we share a little Verve with you! I pulled out Verve's Love Notes and put together this ultra girly, ultra shabby card:

I stamped the 'You Make Me Smile' sentiment from Love Notes on some decorative Nestie Ovals, sponged the edges a bit and dressed them up with some Liquid and Zva Creative Pearls.
The flower bouquet is also from Zva Creative and that is exactly how I received them, in that cute little bunch. All I did was fan them out a bit, add some sweet Seam binding, a heart button and a hemp bow. The paper is from Maja Design...I distressed all the edges and hand sewed the zig-zag design. The side edges were adorned with a punched border of Vintage Floral along with a panel of Verve's Pennant Trim die cuts and then I sponged the edges lightly with Walnut Stain distress ink. There's also a touch of antique lace behind the flowers.

Here's the line-up of hoppers today:

1. Julee6. Amber
2. Betty7. Andrea
3. Sankari8. Charmaine
4. Sony9. Maureen
5. Susan10. Teresa

There's a great little prize involved, too! A random commenter on one of the hops will win a $30 gift certificate to VERVE, so be sure to leave a little love in the comment section as you hop about! You can find out all the prize details over on the Verve Blog today.

Here are the Verve products I used on this card:

And before I go, Verve is having a sale!
