Welcome to Heartfelt Creation's Wednesday!
Heartfelt Creations has so many wonderful stamps, full of beautiful flowers, gorgeous backgrounds and original designs. I wanted to make up a project that would incorporate a lot of these designs into one creation. And, as some of you know, although the time-sucker that Pinterest is, you can really get some good ideas from it. I saw some beautiful tags and thought that I could make up a collection of tags, or even bookmarks (uh, yeah...none of my tags would last 2 minutes in a book due to their dimension, but that's where I was going with that). Anyway, here is a collection of 6 tags that I made up using all Heartfelt Creations stamps:
Instructions for tag pictured above:
Cut Early Espresso base to 3" X 5 1/2". Cut a piece of white card stock to 2 7/8" X 5 3/8" and rub anti-static embossing bag over paper. Press Bella Rose Vase PreCut Set leaf design into Versamark watermark pad and then stamp paper twice. Sprinkle clear embossing powder over design and tap off excess. Hold paper carefully under heat gun to set the powder. Using a sponge dauber, lightly sponge Walnut Stain distress ink over the entire design, concentrating heavily on the outlined shapes. Add Walnut seam binding across middle, tie bow with leaf accent. Die cut a Nestabilities Maple Leaf design and sponge the middle lightly with Frayed Burlap distress ink while the paper is still in the die. Stamp sentiment onto middle and attach panel to tag. Punch a hole in the top and add white seam binding bow.
Instructions for tag pictured above:
Cut a 2" X 5 1/2" piece of white card stock for base. Cut another piece of white card stock down to 1 7/8" X 5 3/8" and using same embossing steps listed above, emboss Daisy Patch Background PreCut Set onto the paper. Sponge Tea Dye distress ink around the paper. Add a strip of Ecru lace to bottom and add a seam binding bow. Attach a silver heart tied with some Natural Jute twine. Stamp sentiment onto piece of white paper, cut out words and delicately sponge edges with distress ink. Attach to tag. Punch hole in the top and add Peach Fizz seam binding bow.
Instructions for tag pictured above:
Cut a 2 1/2" X 5 1/2" piece of white card stock and using the embossing steps listed in first post, emboss Stained Glass Background PreCut Set. Sponge design with alternating colors, pink, purple, blue and yellow. Add edge of doily and tie a silk bow around the middle. Add decorative stick pins and senitment stamped in a circle Nestability. Cut border using Martha Stewart's Double Loops corner & border punch, then attach to embossed panel. Punch hole in the top and add yellow seam binding bow.
Instructions for the tag pictured above:
Cut white card stock to 2 5/8" X 5 1/2". Cut another panel to 2 1/2" X 5 3/8" and using same embossing steps listed above, emboss Classic Rose PreCut Set vine design. Sponge background with Bundled Sage distress ink. Add crocheted lace, green grosgrain ribbon bow and felt heart sticker. Stamp sentiment onto white card stock, punch out using a Word Window punch, sponge edges and attach to card. Punch hole in top of card and add white seam binding bow.
Instructions for tag pictured above:
Cut Kraft background panel down to 3" X 5 1/2". Cut another panel out of white card stock measuring 2 7/8" X 5 3/8" and using the embossing steps listed in the first post, emboss the Bella Rose Vintage Background PreCut Set. Sponge Tattered Rose, Bundle Sage and Weathered Wood distress inks in a random fashion over the design. Add white seam binding bow with pink button adorned with a Ivory jute bow. Add pearl flourishes, punch hole in the top of tag and add seam binding bow.
Instructions for tag pictured above:
Cut white card stock base down to 3 1/4" X 5 1/2" and then another white panel to 3 1/8" X 5 3/8". Emboss smaller panel with Shabby Chic Lace PreCut Set using technique listed in Tag 1's instructions. Sponge design with Vintage Photo distress ink. To make paper flowers, stamp 2 large & 4 small Carnations florals and cut out. Sponge both sides with distress ink and lightly curl up edges with paper piercer. Take two small flowers and add glue to petals and center & fold up. Add first rolled up flower to second and roll that up too. then add to the last 2 small flowers that have been attached to each other in a staggered fashion. Add this to the 2 large flowers, also adhered in a staggered fashion. Adhere flower to lace bow and then to tag. Stamp Butterfly from ButterFly and Lilies PreCut set onto white cardstock, color with Prismacolor pencils and cut out. Attach to tag base. Add pearl flourishes, punch hole in top and add seam binding bow.
