November Diva Inspirations Hop

Welcome to our November Diva Inspirations Hop!  On Friday night, Verve released their holiday collection of stamps and today we're putting on our monthly hop to inspire you with a fresh mix of old and new! So grab a cup o' joe and hop along as we share a little Verve with you! There's a great little prize involved, too! Here's my rustic, earthy card using a little old and a little new, something borrowed but nothing blue:

I had a card completely made for this last night and decided to pull it all apart and start over. Most times I'm glad when I do that as the second time around usually does the trick. If I have to force myself to like a card, it means, simply, that I don't like it in the first place. I've combined Verve's new Merry and Bright's spiritual cross stamp with last year's Bright Spirit's sentiment, Peace. I've added one of my new favorite accessories, raffia, some Zva pearls, a paper flower, buttons and seam binding.

Here's Mojo Monday's sketch that I used:

The Verve Divas have a boat load of Inspiration to share, check out their blogs here:

  22. Such a beautiful, timeless, versitle card. It could be used for so many occasions, as well as Christmas. I noticed the raffia bow, too. Funny that I just pulled some out to use just the other day. Had to blow the dust off. The whole design of the card says "peaceful" to me. Lovely.
