New Verve...Holiday Greetings

Hello Verve fans...tonight's the night! Four sets of new Verve will be available and we're going to have a grand time at our release party! Hop around with the Divas today to see how they made some gorgeousness with Verve's new Holiday Greetings set:

This top card came together rather accidentally...I had colored the tree with Copics and cut it our for a completely different card, but then laid it on this setting and I thought it fit perfectly! I sponged the edges of the Oval die while it was still in the die to give that soft look around the perimeter. I added silver liquid pearls as garland on the tree and then dabbed some platinum liquid pearls around the perimeter. I attached that to a Floral Ovals and then put that on a Labels Eighteen, that was similarly sponged. The lace accent was made by snaking a length of taupe silk ribbon thought the middle holes (I covered up most of it, duh) and then attaching the ends to the back. I added that in between the Labels Eighteen and the image panel. Underneath all that is a strip of brown silky crushed ribbon. I added a perimeter of Zva pearls, a raffia bow and a paper doily underneath.

I was doubly inspired so I made this tag as well:

I had some leftover paper and cut out the tag shape, then added my signature floral cluster consisting of both paper and fabric flowers, tulle accents, gingham and silk ribbon, burlap finally tulle accents. I added some Zva crystal flourishes and the top poof was made with the extra strands of burlap that I had pulled out of the square. The sentiment is also from today's release, Holiday Greetings.
