New Verve...Lean On Me

Good morning! I made this card a couple of weeks ago for Verve's Anniversary release but hadn't had a chance to post it. I used the Lean On Me set from Verve and made a little paper flower as my focal point:

I took some old book pages and cut them into 1/4" strips. I then glued the ends together and then arranged them into a floral pattern. I set my sentiment on the top and added some gingham accents.

Off to work today, thanks for visiting and enjoy your day!

Stamps: Lean On Me (Verve Stamps)
Paper: A Ladies' Diary (Graphic 45), Black, Vintage Cream
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black, Tea Dye distress ink (Ranger)
Accessories: Old book pages, Platinum Liquid Pearls (Ranger), 7/8" Black/Ivory Check Ribbon, Ivory Jute/Burlap Twine, 2.5" Wired Natural Burlap (Ribbon Carousel),
Top Note die (SU!), Petite Scalloped & Lacey Circle Nestabilities (Spellbinders), Bisque Liquid Pearls (Ranger), pearl, button, dimensionals, dauber
