New Paper Sweeties Sneak Peek

Happy Saturday and Happy Labor Day weekend! I've got a sweet treat for you today, it's a sneak peek of Paper Sweeties' upcoming release! As we push ahead into Fall, I had a hankering to make some Fall-ish cards, namely this one here, using previously released Sophie and dressing her up with some Halloween goodness:

I dressed our girl Sophie in an adorable witch costume, complete with golden buckled hat and shoes. The black doily was colored with a Versafine Onyx Black pad and I made just a bit of it peek out from behind one of the panels. The ribbon is Mango Vintage Seam binding and the Black Jute/Twine bow is  from the Ribbon Carousel. The sentiment panel consists of a Scalloped Circle atop an Ironwork Motif die cut.
Check out the Paper Sweeties blog today to see what other sets are being featured!

Thanks for stopping by and enjoy your weekend!

  8. So cute, Andrea! I prefer fun Halloween to scary Halloween always!! My grandson (25, married and father of my new great-grandson) has hair just like you and your daughter. I did, too, until it all turned gray!! His is in a long pony tail... he is a computer programmer for a game company so it is tame in comparison to some of the others tatoos and piercings, etc. Anyway, long seems to be the only way to keep it tame because he refuses to use any of the great new products out there that I dabble with. With gray hair I get the fuzzies but not the ringlets so I still have to work with it. Anyway, I know what your girl is going through. There wasn't one prom or dance I went to in high school that it didn't rain after I'd gotten a salon "do" for the occasion! Yuk!
