I adore these 'Generations' papers from Simple Stories. From that starting point, I cut a Early Espresso base that was a tad too big, so I decided to border cut both lateral edges and decoratively punch the bottom. The glitzy cluster was taken off of a Godiva candy box (I never throw anything away...like that, anyway). I added a cute little bow and a button adorned with some dark brown hemp twine. There's a length of Cluny lace from the Ribbon Carousel beneath the other red bow and I stitched most of the edges. This card so reminds me of Fall, though the thermometer outside me window registering 95º tells me differently....

As a little side bar, my mom hooked me up with this site....www.tut.com. I signed up for daily e-mails of affirmation and they really give me a lift for the day, so I thought I would share. Here's today's message:
If anything, these messages really make me think, bring me into the here and now and appreciate the world around me. Ok, that's all for the heavy....have a great day and thanks for visiting!
