Viva La Verve...Amazing Grace

Hello Friday! It's my turn to host this week's Viva La Verve sketch and it's amazing to me that I always end up volunteering for the CAS sketch! This sketch itself is a CAS design, however, I did add more stuff to it, as I am famous for doing. :) You can keep it as simple as you'd like, or you can slightly bennnndddd the rules and embellish to your heart's desire. Here's my sample with my design pictured below:

I used some neglected 7 Gyspies Conservatory paper, rounded some corners, added some twine and die cuts and called it a day! The focal panel consists Verve's Amazing Grace Plain Jane stamped onto an Oval Nestability, followed by a Labels Eighteen and underneath a Floral Oval. I added some liquid pearls to show distinction between the layers. It also looked a tad sparse after that so I added some Olive Jute/Twine from the Ribbon Carousel and two Zva Creative flowers.

Today happens to be the last sketch for the month, if you've played along all month and loaded your cards up into the gallery, you have a chance at winning big with Verve! Wanna know more?

Here's the story on the Viva La Verve challenge:

Every Friday, a Diva will post a sketch for your enjoyment. Your cards, using the sketches, must be uploaded to Splitcoast Stamper's Viva La Verve forum by the last Thursday of the month. The winner will be announced on the next day and will win a $100 gift certificate to VERVE! How awesome is that?! Just a reminder, Verve stamps are NOT required but we love to see you use them. Feel free to flip, rotate, resize, or otherwise alter the sketch as long as we can tell you USED the sketch! This month's keyword with be VLVJul2012 for the whole month of July.

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by!
