The Ribbon Carousel Hops With Skipping Stones Design

Ok, we're taking another go at it again! The gals from the Ribbon Carousel got to play with some stamps from Skipping Stones Design, the SSD DT received some fabulous ribbon and here's the culmination of all our creativity! Well, here you're just going to see my card, but if you take a lookie down below (my post, that is) you'll see who else is hopping and showing off some stampy, textile goodness! I was a guest designer for SSD last year and as a result have this wonderful set called Always Here. Here's my card using this set:

The paper that I used on this card is new from Graphic 45 and it's called A Ladies' Diary Collection. I purchased it from the Ribbon Carousel and I am in love with it! You will definitely be seeing this paper in the future (here, at least). I layered a strip of 5/8" Ivory Pleated Satin Trimming Ribbon under the butterfly and added a little bow made from  1/8" Curly Sparkling White Trim using this technique here. The only thing I did different was that I cut a few of the loops to give the bow a fuller effect. Finally I added a coordinating button tied on with some Natural Jute/Twine.

Let's talk prizes!

Hop along and leave some blog love for our designers for a chance to win one of 2 great prizes!  The Ribbon Carousel will be giving away a ribbon carousel and Skipping Stones Design will be giving away a stamp set of the winner's choice!   Winners will be announced on Saturday at 8:00 PM EST!

Ready to hop?!
Lets do it!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great holiday!
