Viva La Verve...Many Blessings

And so it goes that Friday finally finds it's way to us again...which means there is a new sketch for us to design with at Viva La Verve! Charmaine is hosting this week and has come up with a sketch...the likes of which I have not seen (recently, anyway). I was in a quandary as to how to approach both the connected circles and the staples. Usually when I see something obvious...I try to think of something not obvious. Well, here's my card, then I'll chat:

Here's Charmaine's sketch:

I have a ton of those sweet little blue flowers from Zva Creative and thought they would be a perfect fit for that row of circles. I made a medallion to house my sentiment and added some homemade stick pins and twine to the jute bow. I still feel like that upper corner looks 'naked' but declined to add more 'stuff' as I didn't want to overwhelm the design. I apologize for the poor picture quality, I had meant to photograph this in natural daylight, but working the past 3 days has not given me the opportunity to do that. So anyway....

Here are the deets on the Viva La Verve sketches:

Every Friday, a Diva will post a sketch for your enjoyment. Your cards, using the sketches, must be uploaded to Splitcoast Stamper's Viva La Verve forum by the last Thursday of the month. The winner will be announced on the next day and will win a $100 gift certificate to VERVE! How awesome is that?! Just a reminder, Verve stamps are NOT required but we love to see you use them. Feel free to flip, rotate, resize, or otherwise alter the sketch as long as we can tell you USED the sketch! This month's keyword with be VLVMay2012 for the whole month of May.

Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for stopping by!
