Viva La Verve...Happily Ever After

Happy Friday! A new Friday means a new sketch for us to behold from the Viva La Verve gallery! My sweet Diva sister Maureen is hosting this week and she has a darling design for us. I was busy assisting (read enabling) my son to make his Science fair project, so I was not able to get this done much ahead of time. In fact, I made this at 11pm last night and you might say that I'm a bit tired! However, using this sketch, my ideas flowed pretty smoothly...(thanks, Moe!) I'm rambling now...here's my card:

Here are the details for the Viva La Verve challenge:

Every Friday, a Diva will post a sketch for your enjoyment. Your cards, using the sketches, must be uploaded to Splitcoast Stamper's Viva La Verve forum by the last Thursday of the month. The winner will be announced on the next day and will win a $100 gift certificate to VERVE! How awesome is that?! Just a reminder, Verve stamps are NOT required but we love to see you use them. Feel free to flip, rotate, resize, or otherwise alter the sketch as long as we can tell you USED the sketch! This month's keyword with be VLVMay2012 for the whole month of May.

Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for stopping by!

  3. Well girl this is an 11pm piece of perfection!
I love the autumnal feel to this and for me (being a wordy, sentimental sort of gal) it is quite fitting for the sentiment.... Two people in love staying together through the autumn of their years?!! Yea, I know, big old softie, soppey me...LOL!!
Everything about this card speaks 'lasting warmth'. Lovely.

  4. You appear to be using some different colors (darker rather than pastels) quite frequently lately and it works! It works beautifully!! This card is a delight with all the yummy details. I'm a great-grandma as of last year, so Science Fairs are so far behind me and I am so glad!
