In Joy or Sadness...

Hello blog friends...no sadness here today...I made a card today for this week's Mojo Monday and Shabby Tea Room challenge that I am honestly happy with. The past few weeks I've been in a card making funk...instead of spending time in my craft room, I've been reading, watching movies...distracting myself from any creativity and although I'm not sure of the purpose, I know there is one. However, today my Mojo is in the air so I'm going to use it to my full advantage, namely:

I made my flower by using this technique here. The only difference is that I used a shorter length of lace to that there was no overlap. Sooo very simple, just a needle and thread and you're ready to go. I want to thank my friend Pat for sending me some old lace...I was glad to be able to make this gorgeous flower with it.
