Heartfelt Creations...You Pick Me Up

Welcome to today's Heartfelt Creations post! I've got one more My Guy collection card to show you, one that is continuing in my neutral, masculine style that I've been using this past month with this collection. I have to say that I am ready to get back to pinks...although I adore neutrals just as much. This card is using some beautiful papers that the Heartfelt Creations team sent me in my DT package for this month, take a look at the card I made:

Card Instructions:
Cut Vintage Cream card stock down to 8 1/2" X 5 1/2, score paper at 5 1/2" mark and fold. Sponge edges with Walnut stain distress ink and paper pierce the entire perimeter. Adhere at 5" square of patterned paper to base. Then add a 3" X 4" sponged, distressed panel to patterned paper base. Add a strip of burlap and secure with lace trim. Add a hemp adorned button and clear stick pins to lace bow. Layer from bottom to top, one Labels Eighteen (adorned with liquid pearls), Labels One (sponged while still in the die), another Labels Eighteen (with liquid pearls) and finally a Lacey circle/regular circle die. Stamp sentiment and add copper brads to circle before attaching to stack with dimensionals. Attach panel to card base with dimensionals.  Add 3 silver star brads to bottom left of card.

  1. I think it looks fantastic! I remember that burlap ribbon, seeing it in person. It is so hefty, and therefore perfect for this guy's guy card. :) Hope you're having a better day. Hugs!

  7. Hi Andrea,
This is a fab card, I love the edged hessian (or burlap as you call it) it gives it a lovely masculine and rugged look without being grungy or rustic.
I have, at last, managed to set up my own blog and although it has taken me a while I am getting into it slowly. Hope you can stop by sometime.
    It's www.creativeharmony.blogspot.co.uk.
Part of my blog will be dedicated to CASING and I would like your permission to use some of your cards for that purpose. If I gain your permission, any pictures of cards I use from your blog will be stated as yours with a link directly to your blog also. I have the greatest respect for your work and would love to use some once in a while.
    All the best Linda
