Where Flowers Bloom

Happy Saturday! I've got a card that I wanted to share, one that I derived inspiration from on a few fronts, first being Splitcoast's Inspiration challenge and sketch for this week. I also had this lovely flower from Zva and some pearl/gem flourishes that I thought would really dress up this card. I kept it mostly monotone, except for the gorgeous moss colored flower. I was influenced by this photo here, at Polyvore. (Love that splash of green at the bottom of the photo!):

I distressed all of the edges and sponged them first with Pumice Stone distress ink, then Vintage Photo. There's some Natural Jute/Twine wrapped around the lace panel and also tying off the buttons. I stamped the sentiment right onto the middle panel with Onyx Black ink. The flower is glued on and I attached the golden/cream colored gem/pearl flourish.
