Viva La Verve...I'm Yours Valentine

If the calendar says Friday, and I'm pretty sure it does, that means it's time for Viva La Verve! Teresa is our hostess this week and has come up with a fun, easy to work with sketch, so I hope you'll play along with us! Here is my card based on the sketch that I've pictured below:

Verve's brand new release is a perfect fit for this sketch (hmm...I wonder if that was on purpose? :) I used the new Wavy Heart die for the heart panel and I used Twitterpated's typed sentiment for the wording. I also added a stamped trio of hearts which is available from this set as well. I wanted to include some pops of red because I knew they'd really catch your eye. The velvet heart was from my stash and the seam binding was ruffled onto some Scor-tape. Under the heart consists of a Lacey Circle Nestability and Martha's Doily die cut. I adorned each layer with some strategically placed Liquid Pearls.

Every Friday, a Diva will post a sketch for your enjoyment. Your cards, using the sketches, must be uploaded to Splitcoast Stamper's Viva La Verve forum by the last Thursday of the month (check for the due date below!) The winner will be announced on the next day and will win a $100 gift certificate to VERVE! How awesome is that?! Just a reminder, Verve stamps are NOT required but we love to see you use them. Feel free to flip, rotate, resize, or otherwise alter the sketch as long as we can tell you USED the sketch!
