Play Date Cafe...Practicing Creativity

Hello and welcome to this week's edition of the Play Date Cafe! We've got a great color story for you today, one that reminded me of lemonade when I first saw it, because lemonade comes both pink and yellow and usually you pour it into a glass, which resembles a gray color...am I rambling? Let's get back to the challenge. Take a look at the beautiful colors that Jax has put together for us this week:

Here's my card using these sweet colors:

I had this grandiose idea in my head which equated to mediocrity on paper...it's not that I don't like it, but my mind fashioned something a bit more colorful and feminine.

I used this tutorial here for making that elegant bow. I happened to have some multi-colored flowers, as luck would have it, in pink and yellow. That was placed atop my elegant bow and the sides and circle perimeter of the card are doused with Petal Pink and Buttercup Liquid Pearls. Remember those dot candies that were on the papers and you had to pull them off and eat them? And more often than not you had to spit out paper? My card reminds me of them. Ahh, such fond memories....

This week's Play Date Cafe is being sponsored by Practicing Creativity Designs. Check out the Play Date Cafe's website for the low down on prizes and how the other gals fashioned projects using these colors!
