A Pastel Christmas

Hi again...I'm back with my weekly Mojo Monday/Shabby Team Room inspired cards. I won't bore you with any idle chit chat so let's get to my card:

I followed Mojo's sketch pictured here:

And the Shabby Tea Room's "Pastel Christmas" photo inspiration:

I did have a bit of a time combining these two challenges...my mind doesn't go automatically to pastels when I think of Christmas, however, my mind does go to pastels for hmm, everything else! So I tried to keep the festive look, combining it with some vintage accents and pastel colors. I used many 'a punch on this card, the top and bottom are cut with the Garden Rail punch, the layer on top of that was cut with a Dotted Scallop punch and the band adorned with the flowers was cut with Martha's Doily Lace border punch.  The sentiment is from Verve's newly released (just this past Friday)  Bright Spirits set. I colored the pearls on each side of the sentiment with a Copic marker, not having any blue pearls...hmm...I'll have to remedy that!

Have a wonderful day and thanks for visiting!
