Mojo Monday...Give Thanks

My weekly jump start to creating has become Mojo Monday. I love to combine Julee's sketches with the wealth of inspiration found at the Shabby Tea Room. In addition to being creatively nudged by the Tea Room's photo today, we are also to use yellow, blue, brown and neutrals of our choice. I've combined the two today, like usual, to make a sweet vintage, shabby chic card:

Mojo's sketch:

Shabby Tea Room's inspiration photo:

The papers are from Prima's Romantique collection, I simply cut out some ephemera images from the paper and matted them. I added a soft, pretty yellow flower with some hemp and crinkled seam binding as well. I covered up the cutest little image with that bow, but there was no way to rearrange it differently :(  I did add more detail to the card, some buttons, lace, pearls...I guess it wouldn't be an "Andrea-card" without those accents  :)

Have a wonderful day and thanks for visiting!

  7. Fabulous as always. I looked at the challenge & wasn't keen on the yellow but now, having seen this wonderful project, I can see that a muted hue would work perfectly. You're a star at these challenges :) The shabby chic style here is simply gorgeous. I'm in awe, yet again. Px
