Celebration Of Thanks

Happy Monday! It's a beautiful day here on the East coast...it's got to be about 80° and the sun is shining! So why am I indoors? Because my Monday is not complete unless I can make a card for Mojo Monday and the Shabby Tea Room! But now that I'm done, I am going to go out and water my plants...want to keep them flowering all summer long! Here is my card...sans floral embellishment (Miss Marisa threw down a challenge to me last week to make a card without a flower embellishment.) I'm actually shocked myself that I did it again, I did have a flower on here and took it off because it was competing with the butterfly.  Anyway, here it is:

Mojo sketch for this week (number 194...wow!)

And the Shabby Tea Room's photo, although our challenge is to use embossing, either heat/dry, which I chose to use both. The technique is the challenge, not the colors:

I rarely use heat embossing (messy, P.I.T.A.) but I really do like the look. I heat embossed the butterfly twice and popped it up with some dimensionals after adding a little pearl bling. The dry embossing is at the bottom.
Off to give those flower beauties a nice drink of water...have a great day and thanks for visiting!
