Oh Baby...You Make Me Smile

Happy Wednesday! I've got the day off today since I worked on Monday and was finally able to put a card together for this week's Mojo Monday and The Shabby Tea Room.  I loaded this card up with lots of shabby elements...I think because the card is bigger than I usually make (4 1/2" X 6 1/2") and I'm sure that I felt the need to fill in all the open spaces. Here is my card for both challenges:

This is the Mojo sketch (designed by my blog buddy Debbie Carriere!):

And the Shabby Tea Room's inspiration photo:

The Shabby Tea Room's challenge this week is to make a baby card. I don't normally {ever} make baby cards, but to my standards, by adding the word "baby" it now qualifies. I also stretched my resourcefulness with this card a bit...I made my own pearl stick pins and the bottom sentiment panel is a cut up Martha Stewart doily die cut.  The rest of the details are the normal shabby accents that I tend to use on my card...which, by the way, make me happy :)
Have a great day and I'll be back tomorrow with a special blog hop post for a very special lady!
