Life Is Beautiful

It's Monday again! I had this weekend off and was able to get a lot of planting done around the house, actually my mom's here now scoping out the yard! I was able to get a little crafting time in this morning, too and combined 3 challenges! I used Mojo Monday's sketch, The Shabby Tea Room's theme of a monochromatic color palette and the Ribbon Reel Challenge's "Strawberries & Cream" with a touch of ribbon/twine and a flower. Here's my card combining these 3 challenges:

I had to make some adjustments to the border punch for it to fit my card, I just measured the repeat and was able to modify the shape to fit my card. I distressed all of the edges and added some crochet trim under the ribbon for a little texture.
Off to Michael's to dig around for some bargains, I'll let you know how I do! Have a great day!

  4. This is absolute perfection!!! Love the layers with that beautiful punch :) Love the color palette, too & that yumjy rose. Which photo does the colors better justice do you thinK? I sometimes take photos outside, but then end up re-taking in my light box :) Curious what your opinion is :)
