Welcome back to day 2 of Verve's March release spotlight hop! Today not only are we introducing another fabulous stamp set, but also some wonderfully versatile new dies! Speaking of newness, I am so happy to see my hyacinths popping out of the ground and the buds on the forsythia trees emerging! I'm thrilled to see that Spring is finally on it's way! For my card today, I'm illustrating my gratitude that winter is coming to an end with my "Think Spring" card here using Verve's new Egg-stra Special stamp set:
I used Jen del Muro's March Sketch for You to Try template for my design:
My card is actually a sneaky sneak peek as the butterfly die is going to be introduced tomorrow, however, it went so well with my card that I left it there... :) I paper pieced the butterfly and gave it some dimension with a pop-dot. I used two die-cuts and cut down the pink one to center it onto the blue butterfly. I also added some pink gems for the body.
Today, you'll notice that the other Diva's are showcasing a brand new set of dies that are banners. These are going to come in so handy for me as I normally use sentiments in place of images on my cards.
Be sure to visit the other Diva's blogs for some beautiful creations using this stamp set and banner dies. While you're visiting, make sure you leave some blog love along the way as there is a prize hidden along the way! One lucky commenter will win the day's featured set! Deadline for comment entries is 6PM Mountain time Friday, March 25th. Winners will be announced at our release party on Friday night. Here's a list of today's hoppers:
1. Laurie
2. Charmaine
3. Jackie
4. Amber
5. Tosh
6. Andrea
7. Julee
