Week number 2 at the
Verve Friday Sketch challenge over at Splitcoast. Since I'm on a roll tonight and this is my 3rd card that I've made with relative ease (I'm going with it), I decided to use this fabulous sketch by
Amber with a color scheme of brown, orange and turquoise. Here is my card:
And Amber's super sketch:
I am so enjoying my new
Verve stamps, have you gone over to the
Verve blog and checked out all the samples of the new stamps? You'll be floored! I know that I love to visit there and get some great inspiration! Speaking of inspiration, I love all the shapes that Amber included in this sketch. I used a Labels 3 as my base, on top of that is a Lacey Circles Nestie and then 2 more circle Nesties. The sentiment is stamped in Walnut Stain distress ink and I also used this ink to lightly sponge the outside of the sentiment panel. I didn't exactly stick to the sketch, I moved my sentiment to the middle, it looks better there to me. The decorative frame under the focal piece is a 5" square cut with my Martha Stewart Layered Arches border and corner punch.
Well, that's all for tonight, have to work in the morning!

This is lovely, Andrea. Love the lacy circle and the punched border. Gorgeous as always :) Hopefully you are getting a bit of reprieve now that the release is over :) You did fabulously well in all your samples (((hugs))). Are you also the guest designer for the release at the end of this month?
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty. I like the colors and how you put them together. When I saw the colors on SCS, I could only "see" them as brights, but as muted tones like you have them they totally work! Thanks for YOUR inspiration. Great card! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the colors on this Andrea. Now I must go get me that lacey circles Nestability, you are such an enabler!
ReplyDeleteAndrea - you have fit in with the Divas quite nicely. Your sample cards have been just beautiful! Working with Verve must be so fun!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Andrea. Love the fall colors, the images... and all those punches and dies you used. :o)
ReplyDeleteAndrea, this is just so striking and very rich in color and design! Beautifully done!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous!! Using the softer color of these colors is wonderful!! Haven't posted mine yet, but it is bright {hehe}. Also like the square nestie with the lacey circles.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful rich colors and lovely design!
