Verve Sneak Peek...Every Season

Guess what? I have another sneaky peek of one of the new Verve stamps to be released this Friday! I promise I have permission to do this, I'm not letting all the cats out of the bag early. When I received my new Verve in the mail, I jokingly told the other gals that I had to accost my mail lady to let me have these stamps. Of course I was kidding (was I?) but I bet if she knew what was in that package she wouldn't have anted it up so quickly. Anyway, I want to give you a lookie at a card I made with one of the Plain Jane sets called "Every Season":

Ok, this card may look REALLY complicated but I assure you it isn't. I simply (operative word being simply) cut out four squares of varying sizes of my Very Vanilla paper and layered each piece with dimensionals or pop-dots to give that great depth.

The square sizes are as follows:
Smallest square  3 1/4"
Next size up   3 7/8"
Up one more 4 3/8"
Largest square 5"

This pattern on the Martha Stewart punch has a very small repeat. This means that you don't have to use the measurements given in the directions. I'll admit, I did have to play around with the measurements to make sure that there was no excess paper in between punches, but that really didn't take me very long. And now that I've done the hard part, all you have to do is use those sizes and try it for yourself! And after the "Super Release" taking place on Friday, October 8th, you could completely CASE this card!
I'll be back tomorrow with another sneaky peek of another Plain Jane set in the Autumn series. You won't want to miss it!

Thanks for stopping by and I'll "see" you tomorrow!

  1. LOVE how you layered those punched panels, Andrea. This screams your touch :) The pearls outlining the fabulous sentiment are a lovely touch too. Beautifully done, my friend :)

  3. Brilliant! I love the dark brown background. It really shows off the lacey punchwork. Such a nice idea. I would looooove, btw, to see a view of your floor after you've punched out all those little bitty bits. lol
