Play Date Cafe...Splash of Burgundy!

I LOVE splash of color time!  To me it's so easy to make a striking, eye catching card with this type of color design. And believe me, when you're working with a color palette that you really like, it's easy to get amazing results. Take a look at this week's color story by Sarah Anderson at the Play Date Cafe and tell me you don't think the same:


Isn't this a gorgeous photo? I wanted to also use a floral focal point and surround the color with black and white. Here is the card that I've designed:




I want to thank Faith of Mark's Finest Papers for letting us use this fabulous stamp set Flourishes & Frames. What an elegant array of stamps and so versatile as well!

Interpret the colors the way you see them.
We do not use specific card stock color names or brands.
Break out of the box and have fun!
The main requirement is:
PDCC COLORS BE THE
FOCUS OF YOUR SUBMISSION
When using additional colors, please limit them to neutrals.
You are welcome to combine challenges,
but we do ask that:

1. The PDCC name and/or photo is used
2. OUR colors are the focus of the card.

  2. Beautiful Andrea. I know you've heard it a lot lately, but, you're amazing with those MS punches - seriously! I love that burgundy flower, it really does add just the right amount of splash.

  10. I was super jealous when I saw this card in the gallery--this is soooooo perfect! Lots of bling and just the right amount of splashed burgundy! JUST BEAUTIFUL! I was jealous because I WANT YOUR TALENT:) LOVE IT! You are super amazing--so glad you are on the team!
