Mojo Monday 159 Plain Jane Sneak Peek

I thought I would use Mojo Monday as a springboard to showcase one of the new Verve Autumn Plain Jane sets available beginning this Friday, October 8th. What better platform to present my sneaky peek! This set is called Harvest Birds and are such adorable stamps! I had a lot of fun putting this card together:

And the Mojo Monday 159 sketch I followed:

I paper pieced the birds using the same floral dp underneath the image panel and used Becca Feeken's Double Tied Bow tutorial to make that luscious bow.  I had to watch it 5 times in order to get mine just right and it's not even just right (for me). I guess that's what they call "creative differences". I also dotted some liquid pearls around the sentiment panel because the sponging, in my opinion, was not enough of a contrast between the sentiment and background paper. The flower in the corner started off ivory so I colored it in using SU! markers to make it match the rest of my card.
