Heart 2 Heart...Leaves

Well, really, it's not going anywhere. The theme this week at Heart 2 Heart challenges is...leaves! How apropos for this time of year, however, I'm not sure where you live, but it's been almost 80° here during the day. Usually by now the leaves are starting to change colors but not yet! So I did a little color changing of my Nestie leaves instead. Here is my "leaf" themed card:

A nice, simple CAS card. All I did was use my Maple Leaf Nestabilities die to cut out some cute leaves, sponged one of them and stamped my sentiment in the middle. A little decorative edge with a Martha Stewart border punch, a cute raffia ribbon with flower and some scoring/sanding on the background paper and voilĂ !

Check out what the other ladies on the Heart 2 Heart Design Team have come up with:
Mary
Deneen
Jamia
Jessica
Kelly
Mandy

Remember to link up your creation at Heart 2 Heart challenge blog by 10pm Sunday to be eligible for the Friday Five distinction and a chance to be a Guest Designer! This week we're having a 4 for 40 challenge with Jessica Moore as our hostess. All we need to do is get 40 participants and a random drawing will determine who wins 4 cards especially designed by Jess!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
