Halloween is approaching! I guess I'd better get it in gear and get some Halloween costumes for my kids! Analise wants to be a dead bride (popular one I think as I've heard this from others, too) and Troy wants to be a ghoul. (Something akin to throwing some type of black garment over his head to go out to get the goodies.) I always think I have so much time, but it sneaks up right on me! Well, at least I'm prepared with my card for this week at
Heart to Heart challenges because we're celebrating Halloween! Here's the frightful card that I've come up with for this round:
I used some Black Diamond Stickles and dripped them along the top for a slimy effect. And I guess my Iron Gate border punch can finally be used for a goth purpose! I used October's Stamp of the Month set called "Thriller". I dabbed the image with some more Stickles for some shimmer (even though it's a scary card, I GOTTA add some bling :)
Check out what the other ladies on the Heart 2 Heart Design Team have come up with:

ReplyDeleteOoooh, love that drippy slime at the top and the Iron Gate punched border; perfect for such a ghoulish card! Get goin' on those costumes, too! Haley is going to be Lady Gaga (minus the skimpy outfit) and I have to decorate some cheap shades with bling for her today. Kerry is going to be The Queen of Hearts.
ReplyDeleteAhhh! I just LOVE this! Love all things scary/halloween-y!
ReplyDeleteVery fun halloween card. Love the design.
ReplyDeleteLove the black and white! Very eye catching. My daughter wants to be a zombie bride too..remember just yesterday when they wanted to be fairy princesses? They grow up too fast..
