CASE Study...Warm Wishes

Our fourth and final week of CASEing the wonderfully talented Barbara Anders! As we bid our cyber farewell we hope that she won't be a stranger to our budding CASE Study Challenge blog. Along with our goodbye to Barbara, we're also sadly saying goodbye to one of our own, Carole Kisch. We all wish her the best and hope that she will also come back and say "hi" and maybe post one of her spectacular cards. Well, as far as Barbara's card....are you ready to see our inspiration card? Wait no longer! Here it is:

Can you say "gorgeous"?  I love the combination of black, white and kraft (almost as much as black, white and red) and I also love the black and white bow and the wonderful "get to the point" sentiment at the bottom. Here's my take on Barbara's classically beautiful card:

As you can see, I needed to shake things up a bit so I added that striking red rose. Really draws the eye, huh? This card was SO simple to make. The hardest time I had was aligning the Top Note dies in the kraft and black. Ha, I should be SO lucky sometimes!

Here are the deets for creating and uploading a project:
1. Create a paper crafting project (card, layout, off-the-page item), based on provided inspiration (being a featured creation, made by our Muse).
2. Post your creation on your blog or an online gallery (using a code CSC12), and link it to CASE Study Challenge blog with the inlinkz widget. Please provide a direct link to your post, not an entire blog.
3. A new challenge is being posted every Thursday at 12.01 AM EST, and you've got until the end of Tuesday to submit your entry.
4. You may enter as many times as you like, but you're asked to provide a newly designed project.
5. We will choose one winner randomly from the list of players, who will receive the prize provided by the sponsor. In addition, the authors of the four most impressive creations will be awarded the Winner and Top 3 awards. We will announce the winners on Wednesday.
