I chose to incorporate the wonderful gem flourish, the lighter background with pinkish highlights and the super ribbon treatment. Here's my take:
Compared to Barbara's card, mine looks orange, however, the color is really Cameo Coral. I decided to use the same design (why reinvent the wheel?) but just added a few more floral details, which was done with an SU Flower punch. I added some pink rhinestones to the middle and tried to make it look like a gem-encrusted vine. Wouldn't that be nice! Speaking of nice, here's what the other Design Team gals have come up with:
Chupa
Amy Wanford
Carole Kisch
Cindy Lee
Lenet Mos
Sue Kohler
Teneale Williams
Here are the deets for creating and uploading a project:
1. Create a paper crafting project (card, layout, off-the-page item), based on provided inspiration (being a featured creation, made by our Muse).
2. Post your creation on your blog or an online gallery (using a code CSC11), and link it to CASE Study Challenge blog with the inlinkz widget. Please provide a direct link to your post, not an entire blog.
3. A new challenge is being posted every Thursday at 12.01 AM EST, and you've got until the end of Tuesday to submit your entry.
4. You may enter as many times as you like, but you're asked to provide a newly designed project.
5. We will choose one winner randomly from the list of players, who will receive the prize provided by the sponsor. In addition, the authors of the four most impressive creations will be awarded the Winner and Top 3 awards. We will announce the winners on Wednesday.
6. Above all, have fun - and be inspired!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Both cards are really lovely. The flourishes add so much sparkle and the accents with the flowers are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!! Love that flourish & your colors look wonderful, as do your added touches. Wonderful CASE :)
ReplyDeleteWow! another beauty! Love the jewels! And it would be very nice to have a jewel encrusted vine or tree! I envy the elegance of your cards. I keep trying, but you have a special flair that I can't repeat. I did try one of your pendants and I am pleased with it. I'll give you another shout out! I did have to break down and do laundry today! LOL! But now I can post with a clean conscience!
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful! I love it!

ReplyDeleteLove the flourish you have used, subtle mix of gems and pearls! The colours are all wonderfully complementary! :)
ReplyDeleteOops, this is rather embarassing! I mixed yours and Carol's cards up and left her a comment that makes no sense! :0{

Love the coral color here! I think the whole card is stunning!
ReplyDeleteAnd I've been wanting to comment on your coloring but now I can't find that post....so I'll tell you here. I think you did a great job and I hope to see more of it. Get your money's worth out of those pencils, you've got the knack for it! :-)
