Viva La Verve September Week 4

I've discovered a definite pattern in my Mojo over the last 6 months of blogging on a regular basis. About once or twice a week I've got it GOOD. The other days, I've got NOTHING. Luckily on the good days, I make 3 or 4 cards and pre-schedule them. This card took me 3 days of looking at rooms, changing papers and, in general, aggravation. It's a seemingly simple sketch, but I can't force my chi. Anyway, here is my card for the 4th week in September of Verve's Friday sketches:

Here are some close-ups:

And here is the sketch I followed:

And the inspiration room I picked after I made my card {wink, wink}:

Tomorrow I have the day off and if I need to pre-request some Mojo from the powers that be, I'm doing that now.  Hopefully I'll churn out at least 3 tomorrow as I have a deadline on Tuesday. I'll keep you posted (literally and figuratively).
Enjoy the rest of the weekend, mine starts tonight!

  2. You may have struggled, but it does not show! Perfect as usual! Neat ruffle and cool flower! I looked at your site like I usually do just to see if there is something new, then went to my dashboard (I know backwards!)
Then I see you posted like 50 seconds ago! Too funny! I need some mojo powers this week too! I have not made anything in weeks and am dying to get my hands dirty again! I know you will churn out something awesome!

  5. Oh how I know what you mean, but for me it seems like with 5 little ones when I actually have time to make something I have no mojo, but when I don't have time I have a ton of ideas! Well at least when inspiration strikes you can create a masterpiece this is beautiful. Love that ruffle and the flower is so striking!
