Nesties...Beyond the Border

This week at Hidden Treasures Challenge Blog we're trying our hand at girly...Uh, no problem here. This is the card that I made for the challenge:

My upline, Helen, directed me to this website that shows you how to make your image extend beyond the limitation of your Nestability die. The instructions are located here. I thought I might give it try, being that I hadn't seen this done before and I'm always up for trying something new. I have to admit that I had to watch the tutorial several times because there was something I just wasn't getting. I kept trimming the edges too closely and having the die misaligned. After about 6 or 7 times (sometimes I need that much practice to get it just right) I was able to line up the die perfectly.
Go check out Hidden Treasures Challenge blog and see what kind of sweet items that Kelli is giving away this week. Last week it was a whole bunch of cool embellishments. Make sure to link up to the blog so we can visit and check out some amazing creativity!

Have a great day and Happy 4th of July!

And a very special birthday wish to the best husband in the world, Guy!

  1. Doesn`t it give a beautiful effect. Sometimes it takes a while but it`s certainly well worth the effort. Gorgeous!
