Verve Color Challenge

I received my first Verve stamps yesterday in the mail. I like to use sentiments on my cards (that is until I learn to color properly) and Verve has great, elegant sayings. The stamp I used on this card is from the Feel the Sun collection. I went over to Verve's forum on Splitcoast and saw this color challenge, which is in fact a challenge for me since I rarely use orange on my cards. Luckily the Mariposa stack that I had purchased had all three colors in it, so I got off easy...this time. We all need to challenge ourselves at some point, otherwise, why bother going through the motions? I realized lately how often I'm "asleep at the wheel". Have you ever tried to pay attention to everything you're doing and feeling for any length of time? I recently had to do that for 6 hours and let me tell you, it's not easy. Most days I can't even remember getting to where I've ended up. Sorry, rambling...
Anyway, time to play with more stamps and enjoy the moment. (They go by so fast!)
