Did you ever have a day where you thought it would be easier to have every hair on your head pulled out one by one rather than what you were going through? I had that day on Thursday. When my kids were young I had more of those days, not so much to this extreme, but I haven't had many lately so I've lost my tolerance for them. It was a work related yucky day and all I could think about was getting home to my favorite "happy" place, aka my craft room. I put this card together and quickly forgot my tale of woe. I started with these cute lace bordered frames by K & Co. that I purchased at Michael's and have been waiting for the right time to use them. Pretty much anything that K & Co. makes is alright in my book. The colors I used were for a challenge on Splitcoast to combo Ruby Red, Cameo Coral and Blush Blossom. They really do work well together, but I am also partial to reds/pinks. I am really enjoying all these new stamp sets that I've gotten from Close to My Heart. A lot of my sets include images also, but I'm not too comfortable with my coloring skills yet. I am taking a Copic Coloring class right now and once I learn to color properly with them I'm going to start putting more images into my cards.
Well today is a new day and I guess you need a bad day every once in a while to appreciate all the good ones. Have a great day everybody. :D

Sorry to hear about your horrible day. At least one beautiful thing came out of it: this card. The butterflies lift my spirits as I look at them. Hope the new week has been better for you.
